Along with Dogwood Alliance and in support of Friends of the Irish Environment, we submitted an objection to the Irish Lough Ree peat-fired power station proposal to extend its operations and convert to biomass in August 2019. Both peat and biomass are destructive, high carbon forms of power that we have to move away from to protect forests, the climate and communities.
