40 protesters held banners and leafletted outside Europe’s largest biofuel conference this year,
which took place in Newark, Nottinghamshire on 17th/18th October. Biofuelwatch helped to organise
the event, which attracted
national media interest.

Two different groups, Food Not Fuel and No Agrofuels UK organised
their own separate direct action protests during the Newark Biofuels
Conference.
No Agrofuels UK held their protest at the D1 Oils biodiesel refinery
