Global Action Plan - Brought the UK's first legal challenge with Foxglove against a hyperscale data centre, on energy consumption and environmental impacts. Calling for a moratorium on data centres from UK government.
Foxglove Legal - Raises and highlights unlawful activities of data centre developers and government. Brought the first legal challenge to the Woodland data centre development with Global Action Plan - which was nearly pushed through by government, despite local council rejecting plans.
Action to Protect Rural Scotland - Convenes large networks of local groups, and maps and opposes hyperscale AI data centres centres all across Scotland which are biggest threat to Scotland’s net zero target and biodiversity.
Auchertool Council - Small community of 200 homes currently fighting plans for world's second-largest data centre.
Dogwood Alliance - Works alongside local communities to fight the environmental harms of AI data centers and biomass energy expansion in the United States.
Biofuelwatch - Campaigning against biomass for energy, and Drax's latest plans to extend its shelf-life with a hyper-scale (enormous) data centre, powered by burning trees.
