DECC announcement on ROCs: continued subsidies for biomass

DECC has today announced that it will continue to heavily subsidise biomass and liquid biofuels under the Renewable Obligation Certification scheme. This will effectively give millions of pounds to developers to cut forests, increase greenhouse gas emissions, pollute, and may mean more land grabbing in the Global South. Read our Press release here.
