The Scottish Parliament has launched an inquiry into the achievability of the Scottish Government’s 2020 renewable energy targets, the merits of the targets and what the risks and barriers are to realising them.
We responded, saying we support ‘true’ renewables but that bioenergy must not be considered to be a viable renewable energy technology if Scotland is to remain a leader in tackling Climate Change. Read our response here.
